Lately, I haven’t been traveling to big cities, but this time I was invited to Barcelona, and I couldn’t say no. Everyone was always saying to me how much I would love that city and its vibes, so I made it. I went in August, and in it was so hot!
Some days before I was camping out in Oregon – and I must say I felt I little overwhelmed in this scenery. The popular beaches as Barceloneta where mass crowded, and the downtown areas were packed of tourists. But, I took same space and witness what Barça had… and it was fantastic. It has so much to offer, so alive.
I managed to visit my sister, that was studying there, and my friends from Paez shoes. When visiting cities, strolling out with locals is so good for a better understanding of the place.
During the weekend, I felt I had to break free, and a friend recommend me to visit Sant Pol de Mar. It’s a short getaway, about 1 hour/2 from the city. It felt so nice to be by the sea, the huge rocks, and this old town – relaxed and quiet, just what I needed.
Some of these pictures were used for Camping BA – which were looking for a wide urban / natural witnessing of Barcelona. Basically, this was my view along my days there.
